We start the New Year with great news: we have been named a kununu Top Company for the third year in a row! To receive this award, an employer must meet certain criteria in terms of the quality and quantity of reviews.

It’s the highlight of February: our cplace Company Kickoff. The whole #bestteam gathers in Munich to get in the mood for the year ahead and the roadmap to 2024.

We want to make cplace even more flexible. The Enterprise Connect Foundation makes this possible. With the newly launched Software Development Kit, we and our partners can build connectors to the cplace platform even faster.

What special features does cplace offer in the area of Citizen Development? The answer is provided by our first Citizen Development Circle [GER], including a hands-on workshop.

Optimism is part of being a founder – and that’s exactly what our CEO and founder Dr Rupert Stuffer had when he kicked off the cplace PPM story on 25 March 2014. Ten years later, we celebrate this anniversary: Happy Birthday, cplace! Then as now, our mission is clear: to revolutionize project and portfolio management in an innovative and modern way.

We stay in event mode: Our partner Le Bihan invites us to their stand at the Hannover Messe! We are happy to take this opportunity to present ourselves and our PPM platform at the world’s leading industrial fair.

Once a year, the cplace Partner Insights offers our partner network the opportunity for intensive dialogue and networking. Under the motto “The Power of Community”, around 50 participants spend an eventful day in Munich with presentations, deep dive sessions and the presentation of the coveted partner awards.

How are pharmaceutical companies such as Bayer and Formycon shaping the transformation and increasing efficiency in research and development, and what role can Artificial Intelligence play in Citizen Development? The cplace Pharma Circle in Berlin provides the answers. The day brings together PPM experts from the pharmaceutical and life science industry and should not be the last Circle of the year…

In line with this, we attend MedtechLIVE, the leading medical technology exhibition. Together with our partner Arorian Technologies, we gain further interesting insights into the medical technology industry.

For the seventh time, we say “Let’s do it” on Social Day. This time we’re going to the Therapeutic Girls’ Home in Gauting – a Caritas youth center for girls with a difficult past. Volunteers from our #bestteam are renovating the entrance area, among other things.

Build or customize business applications yourself in record time? It’s possible with cplace. In our Citizen Development webinar [GER], we show how specialists without in-depth knowledge can easily design solutions themselves.

We are also making progress in the area of resource management, with the Resource Management Premium Application and the Resource Planning for Projects Solution Template, two valuable additions to our toolkit.   

July & August

July brings news from the management: Hartmut Schaper becomes the new Co-CEO of cplace. He had previously been a member of our supervisory board for five years. In his place, we welcome Maximilian Brandl as a new member. Welcome, Hartmut and Maximilian!

Long live sport! For the three-week Munich City Cycle, we’re ditching the car and getting on our bikes. And at the B2Run, our #bestteam in Munich and Hanover put their feet up and enjoy a well-deserved finish. Cohesion and team spirit are our top priorities.

In July, we are celebrating our 10th anniversary in style with our summer party. We continue our summer party tradition at our founder’s farm. A great and fun day for our #bestteam with barbecue, cocktails and good music.

The future of project management is here, and Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a buzzword. We are introducing: cplace Citizen AI. The power of AI models integrated into our cplace Low-Code. This makes a powerful extension of our platform through generative AI a reality.

September is also characterized by cplace Day. The countdown to Europe’s biggest PPM conference is on and preparations are in full swing.

For a company based in Munich, a visit to the Oktoberfest is a must. So it’s all the better that our partners join us at the festival and that we can enjoy Oktoberfest beer and genuine Bavarian delicacies together. 

October

On October 10, the time has finally come: cplace Day is entering its tenth round! With more than 1,200 registrations and over 450 experts on site at Motorworld Munich alone, our hybrid PPM event has a firm place in the calendar.   

Well-known companies such as Bayer, ZF Friedrichshafen, MAN Truck & Bus SE, Canyon Bicycles and Airbus Aerostructures GmbH share their vision of the future of project management and show how they use the cplace solution kit to take their PPM to the next level. Of course, cplace Day also focuses on Artificial Intelligence in project management – and we show how cplace Citizen AI makes the difference.  

For the first time, there are two side stages at the conference in addition to the main stage, where we and some of our partners provide even more profound insights into the PPM of tomorrow. We are already looking forward to next year!

On the eve of cplace Day, we are organizing our third Pharma Circle, an exclusive networking event for the pharmaceutical industry. Numerous experts gather at Motorworld Munich to network and share best practices. At the same time, our first Automotive Circle celebrates its premiere. Leading minds from the automotive industry meet to discuss the latest PM trends and industry-specific challenges.   

November

In November, we are travelling to Berlin for the Green PLM of our partner Dataciders InMediasP! It is all about sustainable product lifecycle management. Flexible data models, extensible architecture and data integration are essential for sustainable business practices – and also key topics in our ESG whitepaper.

We look back on a year full of highlights, inspiration, collaboration and solidarity. Our 10th anniversary has shown us how much we have achieved together and how important the people who make up cplace are. A huge thank you to our strong community, our customers and partners, our #bestteam and everyone who has supported us so actively during this special year.  

We are already looking forward to 2025, when new projects, exciting collaborations and challenges await. Until then, we wish everyone a relaxing end to the year and happy and reflective holidays. Let us continue to achieve great things together in the New Year!
