Munich, July 1, 2024 – collaboration Factory, provider of the software platform cplace, takes the next step in its growth and expands its management board. Since July 1, 2024, Hartmut Schaper has been working as a Board Member and Co-CEO alongside CEO Dr. Rupert Stuffer.

Schaper will oversee a large part of the company’s operations, including areas such as sales, partner management, and software development. The company’s founder and previous sole CEO, Dr. Rupert Stuffer, will focus more on innovation and strategy, product management, marketing, and investor relations in the future.

Hartmut Schaper has served as a member of the supervisory board of collaboration Factory for the past five years and brings extensive experience as CEO, CTO, and board member of various companies in the software industry. Schaper has experience in scaling startups and mid-sized companies, as well as in senior management roles in large companies.

After holding positions at software giant SAP and the Boston Consulting Group, Schaper, as the CTO of IXOS Software AG, a provider of document-centric solutions, played a crucial role in the company’s sale to Open Text. At Siemens Healthcare, he led the development and implementation of international hospital information systems for over five years. As CEO of the Bosch subsidiary Azena, Schaper was responsible for building a new ecosystem for professional video cameras in the area of safety and security. Most recently, he served as CTO at Synlab Health for You, Europe’s leading provider of medical diagnostics.

“I am looking forward to joining the strong team at cplace as a board member, with whom I have effectively collaborated in the supervisory board over the past five years. It is important to me to actively shape and drive growth in all areas – from product and process innovations to strengthening our partnerships and customer relationships, to the development of our #bestteam,” said Schaper on his appointment on July 1.

“Hartmut Schaper’s experience in building technology companies will be of great importance to us in the coming years as we develop our management team and expand our business,” commented founder Dr. Rupert Stuffer on the management change. “We are confident that his expertise will be very valuable as we lead cplace through the next exciting growth phase.”

The expanded cplace management team now consists of members Dr. Rupert Stuffer, Hartmut Schaper, Marie Pawelzik, and Marvin Adami.
