Hartmut Schaper becomes Board Member and Co-CEO
Munich, July 1, 2024 – collaboration Factory, provider of the software platform cplace, takes the next step in its growth and expands its management board. Since July 1, 2024, Hartmut Schaper has been working as a Board Member and Co-CEO alongside CEO Dr. Rupert Stuffer.
Schaper will oversee a large part of the company’s operations, including areas such as sales, partner management, and software development. The company’s founder and previous sole CEO, Dr. Rupert Stuffer, will focus more on innovation and strategy, product management, marketing, and investor relations in the future.
Hartmut Schaper has served as a member of the supervisory board of collaboration Factory for the past five years and brings extensive experience as CEO, CTO, and board member of various companies in the software industry. Schaper has experience in scaling startups and mid-sized companies, as well as in senior management roles in large companies.
After holding positions at software giant SAP and the Boston Consulting Group, Schaper, as the CTO of IXOS Software AG, a provider of document-centric solutions, played a crucial role in the company’s sale to Open Text. At Siemens Healthcare, he led the development and implementation of international hospital information systems for over five years. As CEO of the Bosch subsidiary Azena, Schaper was responsible for building a new ecosystem for professional video cameras in the area of safety and security. Most recently, he served as CTO at Synlab Health for You, Europe’s leading provider of medical diagnostics.
