cplace is an AI Platform for PPM, based in Munich. Large organizations use it to steer complex project portfolios and to build the applications they need for product development and digital transformation, with AI support and within the rules their IT has set.
Where cplace comes from
cplace was founded in 2014. At the time, project work in large organizations looked much the same everywhere. Each department planned in its own system, and what held it all together was usually an Excel file that someone in the PMO updated by hand.
The PPM software on the market did little to change this. Some products came with so many functions that most of them were never used. Others followed a fixed model, and organizations had to bend their processes to fit the tool. What was missing was a platform designed for the way large and complex organizations really work.
That gap is the reason we started cplace.
Our view has not changed since then. Companies that develop aircraft, vehicles, medicines or machines should have software that adapts to their processes and grows with them. Today that includes AI, which builds and changes applications within the rules set by IT, and a platform you can adapt to your organization.
