2023…

…had many wonderful moments in store for us. The cplace year was characterized by big and small milestones, special moments and great team spirit. So let’s take another look back. Curtain up for the cplace highlights 2023!

January

We have big plans and are starting the new year full of energy. In January, we are launching a new expert series: our Partner Success Stories are celebrating their premiere. This format gives our community a forum to share their experiences. Our partner InMediasP will kick things off: Tobias Thunmann provides insights into the collaboration with cplace. And REDPOINT.TESEON also gives valuable insights into innovative solutions in supply chain management in an interview with Dr. Thomas Braun. Last but not least, Jan Brenneke from our partner Tiba Technologieberatung will be presenting holistic PPM tool management in collaboration with cplace.

February

In February, the focus is again on our cplace network: a new partner joins the group – with PITERION Group, cplace gains an international player in product lifecycle management with a focus on the automotive, transportation, aviation and aerospace industries.

And it stays collaborative – across national borders. Our first marketing workshop on strategy and campaign planning takes two of our colleagues to Poland. More precisely: to beautiful Wroclaw and the premises of our partner Objectivity. There they work together on planning the first joint campaign for the Solution Template Computer System Validation.

There’s also a lot going on internally: at the big company kickoff, including breakfast together, our #bestteam looks back on the past year and gets in the mood for the roadmap for 2023. Of course, the kickoff also serves to strengthen relationships with each other.

March

The exchange continues in March. At the meeting with REDPOINT.TESEON and Objectivity, the focus is on supply chain risk management. The aim is to make companies and their supply chains more resilient to risks. With its partner solution LOOMEO, REDPOINT.TESEON has its finger on the pulse of the times – even today.

Happy birthday to us! Our last single-digit birthday is coming up. Nine years ago, on March 25, our CEO Dr. Rupert Stuffer founded a small start-up with big visions. On its ninth birthday, collaboration Factory has 180 employees – and counting. We are incredibly grateful and proud of our success story so far. Together with the cplace community, we have achieved a lot.

April

Hello, dear neighbors! At the beginning of April, Julian T. Sattich and his Objectivity team are moving into one of our Munich offices. Side by side with one of our partners, we are looking forward to an even closer and more personal exchange.

There is also a lot going on in our Ludwigsburg offices: at the “CCP Lab Next Generation”, everything revolves up around the topic of cross-company planning in the value creation network. The PM expertise of leading companies meets there to exchange ideas and discuss. What are the success factors of cross-company collaboration? How can we drive forward digitalization in this field? London is calling: let’s go to the Pharma PPM Toolbox! Together with our partner Objectivity, we are taking part in one of the largest project and portfolio conferences in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe. There we will be exchanging ideas with representatives of leading pharmaceutical companies. But this will not be our only appearance in the PPM event sector…

May

The event calendar for the month of May is quite impressive: the PM world of projektmagazin in Munich kicks things off. Equipped with exclusive insights into the cplace platform and a popcorn machine, our sales team and our partner Quinscape are on site with a demo stand to exchange ideas with the PM community!

We continue with our Partner Insights event. True to the motto “The Power of Community”, more than 50 partners spend an informative day with us at the smartvillage in Munich. One highlight: the partner awards ceremony, including the presentation of the sought-after cplace Awards.

Social work? Let’s do it! Some of our #bestteams don’t miss the opportunity to paint for a good cause on the Munich Action Day. This time, we are helping LOKArrival – a leisure center for young people with a migration background – to beautify the courtyard.

June

How fit is our #bestteam? – In June, our colleagues from Hanover proved that they are pretty fit. They swapped their office outfits for sports shorts and running shoes and headed to the starting line of the B2Run in Hanover with great motivation. They master the six and a half kilometers with flying colors – a run with team spirit. Can the Munich running team keep up?

The team spirit also stays with us at the Munich Project Management Days. The focus there is on strengthening our partnerships. We talk to our partner Le Bihan Consulting about joint projects and strategies and how we can further advance our close collaboration.

July & August

The cplace summer has it all. One event chases the other… but let’s start from the beginning.

A Java User Group session takes place at the Munich office at the beginning of July. Java Champion Bruno Souza is our guest and shows us how to participate in the best projects in the JVM world. Fun fact: the longest journey for the workshop is about 7 hours from Switzerland!

After the great performance of the running teams from Hanover, the sports-loving colleagues of the Munich #bestteams also want to show what they’re made of. Together they set off on the 5.6-kilometer course of the Munich B2Run. The crux of the matter: it’s 30 degrees Celsius in the shade that day. The runners have truly earned the cool, non-alcoholic beer after crossing the finish line in the Olympic Stadium.

Corporate culture is an important topic for us. That’s why we organize a Culture Day once a year. Our #bestteam spends an entire day focusing on our values and culture. Or as our colleagues put it in their keynote speech: you can’t not be part of the culture.

When the temperatures are hot, there’s nothing better than getting out of the city and heading to Lake Chiemsee. Off to the cplace summer party! A fantastic time with lots of summer action awaits us all there: from SUP paddling to climbing and a barbecue at our CEO Dr. Rupert Stuffer’s home afterwards, there’s something for everyone.

The summer also brings new additions to our partner network: STAR COOPERATION GmbH enriches our community with its expertise in industry-specific requirements.

September

In September, we celebrate a milestone: the relaunch of our brand new website! The hard work has paid off: we now have a stylish, informative and user-friendly website that offers detailed insights into our product cplace, Next-Generation Project and Portfolio Management and our company. At the same time, we are launching a new career website.

With so much festivity, we don’t miss the opportunity to raise our glasses in a proper toast. It’s finally Oktoberfest again! In true Bavarian style in Dirndls and Lederhosen, we had a great time with delicious food and cool drinks. And our partners also joined us for a visit to the Oktoberfest.

The highlight of the year is coming up in the fall: the cplace Day! This year it is the biggest event we have ever organized: with 500 guests on site at Motorworld Munich and over 700 online registrations, we break our previous record and can now call ourselves the biggest PPM event in Europe!

True to the motto “Where PPM innovators meet”, our guests receive valuable impulses on all aspects of project and portfolio management. Well-known clients, including Audi, Drees & Sommer, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, MTU Aero Engines, Porsche and Roche, provide exclusive insights into their projects and show how they themselves became designers of their own software solution. This year’s cplace Day is once again hybrid and we are broadcasting all sessions live into the digital world.

On the eve of cplace Day, we are organizing our Pharma Circle for the first time – it is the kick-off for a series of events that will promote collaboration and innovation within the pharmaceutical industry in the future. More than 30 pharmaceutical representatives discuss innovative approaches and trends for intelligent project work together with our customers Roche and Bayer.

Last but not least, we can also look forward to three new partnerships in October: with SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH, we have gained one of Germany’s leading IT service providers for our partner network. Also joining us are collective mind SOLUTIONS as experts in digital transformation and Arorian, with its expertise in lifecycle management, among other things. We are looking forward to working together!

November

In November, we are once again represented with a stand at HOKO. We are on the lookout for new talent for our #bestteam at the university job fair. All vacancies can also be found on our brand new careers page.

At the end of the year, of course, one thing is a must: the cplace Christmas parties. During the festive season, we all come together once again – whether in Hanover, Ludwigsburg or Munich. Merry Christmas everyone!

A jam-packed cplace year is coming to an end. A big thank you from us to everyone who made it another special one. Thanks to our strong community and everyone who contributed to another successful cplace year.

We wish everyone a peaceful end to the year, relaxing holidays and are already looking forward to great projects, collaborations, innovations and challenges in the new year! Hopefully you will be there again when it says: cplace 2024. Let’s get to work!
