What does REDPOINT.TESEON do?

We develop excellent value chains for our customers, from the product idea all the way to the end customer. With our hybrid approach, we provide support with strategic consulting services as well as with the implementation of new business processes and state-of-the-art IT solutions on the topics of product and project portfolio as well as supply chain management. In addition, we implement our customers’ agile transformation on the cplace platform with our own smart apps for AI-based business analytics & execution under our software brand LOOMEO. We firmly believe that we need to constantly rethink products, services and customer experience and the underlying value chain to meet market demands and thereby achieve long-term success.

Why did you become a cplace partner? How did the partnership come about?

The paths of our companies crossed at a perfect time. Personally, I have known cplace founder Dr. Rupert Stuffer for quite some time and was convinced of his approach with cplace from the very beginning. As a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich, we initially developed LOOMEO in 2006 as a software for complexity management and applied it with great success in numerous consulting projects with our customers in the development of complex, technical products. Over the years, the range of applications has grown steadily. Just in the early days of collaboration Factory AG, we were confronted with the question of how to further develop our software technologically. The decision to use cplace as a platform has paid off. Our application became the first premium application on cplace and is now the most advanced business solution of any partner.

You have been cplace partners for a very long time. What do you appreciate about the partnership? And what have been the highlights for you so far?

REDPOINT.TESEON AG has been a cplace partner from the very beginning. Right from the start, we have appreciated the trusted cooperation in the partner network and the underlying vision – to achieve much more together than it would be possible on our own. One highlight is that we succeeded in opening the door to the pharmaceutical industry together. For example, we developed an agile project and portfolio management platform for the highly dynamic early pharma R&D phase for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, Roche, which has been successfully in operation since 2020. We are working on further innovative solutions for the pharmaceutical industry – also in collaboration with other partners from the cplace community.

There are countless possible uses for cplace. How do you use the platform?

For project and portfolio management, cplace is the ideal tool. The flexible platform enables us to provide our customers with standard solutions in no- and low-code very quickly. On the other hand, we can develop additional customer-specific solutions with high innovation content and added value based on the flexible data model. For these reasons, cplace is the perfect platform for our LOOMEO business applications. It enables us to translate our domain-specific know-how into tools that deliver results for our customers in a short period of time.

In the area of supply chain management, this means that we are currently offering several applications that have their finger on the pulse. Our LOOMEO Supply Chain Risk Management solution enables users to identify structural risks in the supply chain. In addition, we can create a digital twin for our customers for more supply chain visibility, as well as optimize supply chain analytics/designs to facilitate more informed decision making. With allocation management, materials and intermediates can be targeted in the supply chain to avoid threatening bottlenecks. In our latest development, we even use artificial intelligence for “shortage management” to unlock the full potential of our customers’ value chains.

What’s next? What potential do you see – also in relation to cplace?

As a modern PPM solution, cplace is continuously capturing the German-speaking market and, in addition to the automotive and supplier industries, is penetrating other sectors such as life science and aerospace. As a platform, cplace offers incredible potential that is far from being exhausted. The success story that cplace has already written in PPM, and in which we were actively involved as a partner from the very beginning, is one that we would like to repeat in the domain of supply chain management – with cplace as a strong platform and LOOMEO as the technical spearhead.
