cplace launches Customer Advisory Board

cplace Customer Advisory Board

Munich, 27 July 2026With its new Customer Advisory Board (CAB), cplace is giving customers and partners a direct and lasting influence on where cplace, the AI-powered enterprise software for project and portfolio management (PPM) goes next. The program puts their feedback at the center of cplace’s product development—on tooling cplace built with its own AI Builder in just 15 days.

Customer and partner feedback has long been one of the most important drivers behind the evolution of cplace. Over the past months, collaboration Factory rethought its entire feature request process with a clear goal: to build an even closer connection between cplace users and product development. With the CAB, launched on July 8, 2026, every idea is heard within the cplace Community, where customers and partners can submit, track, and vote on ideas together and follow their progress all the way to release.

Instead of buying a separate tool to manage its feature request process and product roadmap, cplace built one on its own platform. The tooling behind the CAB was created entirely with AI Builder, cplace’s AI-powered PPM solution builder, which turns business requirements into a complete, tailored solution in days and weeks rather than months. A comparable off-the-shelf product-management tool would have meant recurring license fees, months of setup and integration, and adapting cplace’s own process to the tool’s logic. With AI Builder, the CAB tooling was live in 15 days, at no additional software cost, tailored exactly to how cplace and its community work. Ongoing improvements ship within regular maintenance windows, generated on the same governed AI platform cplace offers its customers. The CAB is cplace running on cplace: the company uses its own AI to build the tools it works with every day.

“We’d never ask our customers to bet on cplace AI Builder if we didn’t run our own business on it,” says Navid Heidemann, Head of Product at cplace. “The CAB tooling went from requirements to live customer voting in 15 days, at zero license cost. That’s what AI Builder changes: instead of buying another point tool for every new requirement, you build it on the platform you already have, tailored to your process and governed by default,” says Heidemann.

The Customer Advisory Board is chaired by cplace’s founder and former CEO Dr. Rupert Stuffer. As the visionary behind the board, he embodies the product vision that cplace and the cplace Community now pursue together. “cplace has always been built with its customers, not just for them. The CAB makes that principle permanent: a place where our community decides together what matters most,” says Dr. Stuffer.

The CAB marks a new chapter in how cplace and its users develop the platform together: more transparent and more collaborative than ever before.
