cplace AI

Governance without trade-offs

Data sovereignty, permission-aware AI, and a full audit trail by design. cplace isn’t your AI vendor. It’s the place where the AI you choose meets the project data you own with the controls your compliance team expects.

cplace AI—Governance for your PPM

The four principles of
cplace AI governance

Every AI capability in cplace is built on the same four pillars. They’re not optional add-ons or premium features. They’re the architecture.

Data sovereignty through BYOK

The Bring Your Own Key principle gives you full control: your API keys, your provider relationships, your compliance requirements. cplace isn’t the AI provider. It’s where your AI meets your project data.

Permision-based acces (Need-to-know)

Every existing cplace permission applies without exception—at the workspace, type, and page level. Privilege escalation through AI is structurally prevented. If a user isn’t allowed to see data, cplace AI can’t surface it through any tool.

Transparency and auditability

Every prompt, every response, and every action becomes part of an auditable trail under your own data policies within the cplace database.

Compliance by configuration

cplace enables enterprises to select AI providers per use case based on data sensitivity, e.g., local providers for air-gapped environments. Customer data is never used to train cplace models or any other model the customer doesn’t authorize.

Three ways to run cplace AI

Not every workload has the same sensitivity. cplace supports three deployment patterns, and you can mix them.

On-premises with Local AI

The AI model runs on your infrastructure. No external data transfer. Recommended for highly sensitive data and regulated industries (defense, regulated pharma, government).

Cloud with external providers

Data is transferred to your chosen provider (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Google Vertex AI) under your direct contract and DPA. Suitable for most standard enterprise workloads.

Hybrid

Different models for different sensitivity levels — for example, a local model for confidential project data, a cloud model for general queries. Configured per use case, audit-trailed end to end.

Documentation and resources for your compliance team

Most cplace AI evaluations include a structured security and compliance review. We’ve made the documentation you’ll need available below.
