Security and access control
- Single sign-on and identity management: Users sign in through your identity provider via single sign-on (SSO). Directory services such as LDAP and Active Directory are supported, and users can be provisioned via SCIM.
- Full audit trail: Every record is versioned and its history preserved. Changes stay traceable for audits, reviews and regulatory requirements.
- Regular penetration testing: cplace undergoes regular penetration tests by an independent external provider based on the OWASP standard.
- Data protection: Data protection is part of how we build and run cplace, including the strict requirements of all applicable data protection law.
Certified to international standards
The cplace platform is developed by collaboration Factory GmbH, whose management systems are certified to ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO 9001 for quality management. Both certifications were issued by TÜV SÜD, an independent, accredited German certification body, and apply within the scope defined in each certificate. Enterprise software should work for everyone who uses it. That’s why an internal competence center at cplace focuses on accessible design throughout the product. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the guideline for the cplace frontend.
We also share our current design system with customers and partners via a Figma UI kit, so solutions built on cplace stay consistent and accessible as they grow.
