cplace Takes Part in Munich Social Day 2026
Munich, June 29, 2026—For the ninth consecutive year, the team at collaboration Factory, the provider of the project and portfolio management software cplace, participated in the Social Day for companies in Munich. Under the motto „Des mach ma.“ employees from various departments came together to engage in a charitable project.
This year, the cplace team dedicated itself to renovating the children’s and youth center Zeugnerhof in Munich. Within a single day, the ten employees turned the requests for beautifying the facility, which the children and teenagers had previously communicated to the social workers, into reality.
The volunteers transformed a former shed into a cozy lounge area, including a sofa section, a projector, LED lights, and lacquered tables. They also built a raised garden bed outside, where the children and teenagers can grow their own vegetables and fruits from now on. The special part: In the afternoon, some of the children and teenagers joined in to help. This allowed the team to work directly with them and bring their ideas to life in an even more targeted way.
Social Day: More than just a long-standing tradition for cplace
For years, the company has been part of the Munich Action Day. Many employees look forward to supporting one of the diverse charitable projects each year. The Social Day has now become more than just an event for cplace—it is an integral part of the company culture. Anke Spichale, Head of People at cplace and responsible for organizing the Social Day within the company:
“The Social Day and its projects clearly reflect the values of cplace: teamwork, appreciation, sustainability, and the ‘Just do it’ mentality always define our way of working. We approach projects with commitment and team spirit, both on Social Day and in our everyday work. We especially value collaboration across all levels and the exchange among each other in a new environment.”
Spichale was also actively involved again this year: “It’s always amazing to see what our team can accomplish together in just a few hours. We are happy to contribute to improving the spaces and, thus, the lives of various groups of people a little bit. This way, we make Munich a bit more livable for everyone.”
Spichale also extends her thanks to Barbara Lenz, the initiator and organizer of „Des mach ma.“, for the diverse selection and organization of the projects, as well as for the long-standing collaboration.
