Already for the Eighth Time

cplace Participates in the Munich Social Day

cplace #besttteam beim Münchner Social Day 2025

Munich, 03 July 2025 – For the eighth year in a row, members of the cplace #bestteam took part in this year’s Social Day for Munich companies, once again demonstrating their commitment to social engagement. This year, 14 employees from the Munich-based software company collaboration Factory came together under the motto “Des mach ma” – from dedicated student trainees and developers to management, colleagues from all areas of the company joined forces to get involved at every level during the Social Day.

This year, the team went to the Munich district of Neuperlach. There, the cplace team transformed Hanns-Seidel-Platz into a place for meeting and exchanging ideas by building and decorating seating furniture as well as creating and planting new raised beds. The results were immediately visible and tangible, making for an experience that regularly inspires enthusiasm. “After a day like this, everyone is truly happy, because you can immediately see what you can achieve together,” is how one participant described the mood within the team.

Social Day as a Firm Part of Company Culture

What makes cplace’s commitment special: The Social Day has long been firmly anchored in the company culture. Year after year, many employees, including those who have taken part in previous activities, support the wide range of projects. The organization and selection of the software company’s volunteer activities is managed by Anke Spichale, Head of People – Operations & Infrastructure. Her focus: activities that directly reflect the culture of cplace.

“I intentionally choose projects that represent our values: appreciation, sustainability, teamwork, and a ‘Just do it’ mentality are at the forefront,” explains Spichale. “We tackle things together, as equals, and especially in more challenging times, we make a point of engaging in social commitment.” These experiences not only strengthen team spirit, but also offer everyone an opportunity to get actively involved.

“Our culture is very important to us – this is clear, for example, in the way we foster cohesion and appreciation across all levels,” says Spichale. She also expresses her thanks to Barbara Lenz, initiator and organizer of the Social Day, for her diverse selection and organization of projects as well as their long-standing collaboration.

The cplace #bestteam is especially proud that their commitment was even mentioned in Zeit Magazin, as reported in “Zeit für Unternehmer”, issue 2/25 [GER].
