cplace Release 26.1 Now Available on the Market
New Features for AI-Powered Assistance, Integrated Document Management, and Modern Planning
Munich, February 10, 2026 – The cplace Release 26.1 expands the project and portfolio management platform cplace with numerous new features. The focus is on the continuous enhancement of AI-powered assistance functions, an improved SharePoint integration, and expanded capabilities in project and resource planning. This provides companies with ongoing improvements in performance and functionality, allowing them to efficiently, transparently, and collaboratively manage complex work environments.
Overview of the new features in cplace 26.1:
1. AI-Powered Work with the cplace AI Companion
With the new cplace AI Companion, a dialog-based, AI-driven use of the platform is introduced for the first time. Users can pose questions in natural language, generate content, or receive targeted assistance from the official user manual—without having to navigate through menus or forms. The AI Companion accesses enterprise-wide knowledge within the cplace environment while considering existing roles, permissions, and security concepts. This ensures that access to sensitive information remains under control at all times.
2. Seamless SharePoint Integration for Centralized Work
The new cplace SharePoint Connector enables direct access to SharePoint documents within cplace. Through the “SharePoint Files” widget, documents and folders can be viewed, edited, uploaded, and organized without switching platforms. Project and document management are thus consolidated into a central workspace and utilized as a single point of truth. All existing SharePoint permissions and authentication mechanisms remain unchanged.
3. Additional New Features and Platform Improvements
The premium app TREES by 2l FORGE offers a solution for the visual management of complex hierarchies—such as portfolios, organizations, or product structures. These structures can be adjusted via drag and drop, while key figures are automatically aggregated, all without programming.
The new Knowledge Base provides an improved user experience with intelligent AI search, better readability, faster updates, and expanded feedback options. This allows information about cplace documentation to be found more quickly and easily—whether for brief answers or detailed instructions.
Additionally, the new release simplifies administration, such as managing low-code jobs and in the UML (Unified Modeling Language) workspace. The new Table 2.0 in the data model’s page tab is now enabled by default but can also be flexibly controlled as needed.
