cplace Day 2026: Experience AI in Project Management Live
Munich, September 10, 2026 — The annual cplace Day, Europe’s largest project and portfolio management (PPM) conference, will take place in Munich on October 29, 2026. Last year, the hybrid event attracted more than 1,300 attendees both on site and online. This year, a separate online stream will also be available for participants from the United States. The conference will focus on the practical application of artificial intelligence (AI) in PPM and on how companies can future-proof their project work.
AI as a Key Technology for PPM
In his keynote, cplace CEO Doug Surrett, together with the cplace product team, will discuss the role of AI in project management and the cplace AI Builder. With the help of the AI Builder, Hitachi Rail replaced an Excel-based cost-tracking process with a customized solution. ZF LIFETEC will present how it successfully migrated almost 700 projects to the cplace platform while increasing user adoption through targeted strategies. One of the world’s best-known pharmaceutical companies will provide insights into its PPM solution and explain how AI creates genuine business value. Rheinmetall will demonstrate how it has established cplace as a central single source of truth across numerous national and international locations, breaking down data silos in a complex and regulated environment. Harting and TRATON will also report on how cplace has become their central platform for project and portfolio management.
