MUNICH, Sept. 9, 2026 \u2014 cplace, an AI-powered platform for project and portfolio management, announced it is expanding its business into the United States. The move extends the company’s track record in global industries where it has deep expertise, including automotive, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, and aerospace, to a dedicated U.S. presence in Raleigh, North Carolina. cplace supports manufacturers in coordinating complex, cross-company programs with suppliers and partners across their U.S. and international operations.<\/p>\n

Enterprise project and portfolio management is under pressure from two directions at once: programs that span more suppliers, sites and countries than ever, and a wave of new AI tools that promise to speed up how software gets built. According to PMI’s 2026 Pulse of the Profession report<\/a>, 81 percent of project professionals say project complexity has increased in recent years, and teams that manage that complexity effectively are five times more likely to succeed. cplace’s platform gives enterprises a single, governed system for planning and running those programs, across classic, agile and hybrid methods, and extends that same governance to how they bring AI into the process.<\/p>\n

cplace has spent more than a decade working with automotive manufacturers and their suppliers on complex, cross-company programs, coordinating vehicle development and production launches that span dozens of suppliers, multiple engineering disciplines and often several countries. That experience is now anchoring cplace’s expansion into the broader U.S. enterprise market.
