Workflow

cplace Glossary

Workflow in Project Management

The term workflow describes a defined sequence of work steps for the production of results. Defined workflows structure processes in terms of time, content and logic. They define “how the work flows”, i.e. who does what, when, how and who then continues to work with it.

The conscious debate about ideal work processes leads to the optimisation of repeating activities, the prevention of waiting times and the easier determination of the completion of the expected results.

With the cplace Workflow Manager, users can map business processes in cplace, automate them and thus make them more efficient. The Workflow Manager is fully integrated into the cplace platform and fully connected with the other cplace applications using a common, uniform data basis.
