Acer Computers provide great value to end-users. They are aggressively priced within the marketplace and they give good service. We have been selling them for over five years.

But recently we encountered a startup issue on some Acer machines which we had sold to end-users and which had been in service for some time. The machine will look like it is starting up but will reach a certain stage and then shut-down and start over. It will never get Windows fully loaded.

We are not sure what caused this issue, but we have found that by removing the Acer eLock software and the anti-virus program, rebooting and then re-installing the anti-virus program we can fix most of the machines.

If you have an Acer machine that is exhibiting this condition, call us or bring the machine into us and check it into our service department. Usually it has not proven to be an expensive repair. But if you do the wrong thing you can turn it situation where it requires a complete re-installation of the everything.
